After a trip to Paxton's Lumber & Woodcraft - it was time for the wood to hit the glue

All of the panels were assembled using #20 biscuits for a strong joint.

I used a x joint for the bottom attaching to the each end.

After the larger pieces were cut and glued-up, it was time to add a few braces

The face frame cross pieces are all assembled using 1/4" wooden dowels - this dowel jig takes all the work out of it!

A rabbit router bit was used to route a 1/4" deep groove on the back of the dresser that will accept the dresser back for a flush finished look shown left.

Looking from the front, it is starting to look like a dresser.

WOW - the drawer even glides in an out smoothly!!!
